Pricing FAQ

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit and debit cards for all account types. Enterprise accounts have an annual invoicing option that is also payable via check, PayPal, or Bitcoin.

Can I change account types later?

Yes! You can switch to a different paid account type or billing interval at any time by clicking on the "Choose" link on this page for the plan that you wish to start using. You can downgrade to a Basic (free) account by going to your Profile page, and canceling your paid subscription.

If you switch from one type of paid account to another, we'll refund the unused portion of your canceled subscription. For example, if you make the switch halfway through a monthly billing cycle, we'll reimburse half of your last payment.

If you switch from a paid account to a free account, we'll keep your paid subscription active until the end of the current billing cycle, then perform the downgrade. If you prefer to have your account downgraded immediately and receive a pro-rated refund, please contact us, and we'll be happy to do that for you.

How do I cancel my account?

DNS Check has no long-term contracts. You can cancel the service at any time by going to your Profile page. We'll automatically stop billing you, and refund the unused portion of your last payment.

Do you offer refunds?

Can I check more than 1,000 DNS records?

Yes. Please contact us, and we'll provide a custom quote.

How can I update my credit card number?

Go to your billing page, and enter the new info.

Where is my receipt or invoice?

We send a receipt to your account's billing address when you first create a subscription, and again each time the subscription is renewed. The billing email defaults to your account's primary email address, but you also can set a different billing address during checkout. You can view the billing email address of any active subscriptions on your Profile page. Please contact us if you can't find a receipt, and would like us to resend it, or if you'd like to change your billing email address on an existing subscription.
